On Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, after 10 continous days of protesting, the Women of HYATT HOUSEKEEPERS UNITED FOR OUR RIGHTS called together a community march against the "30 Room Program." Along side the majority of the department - OVER 250 PEOPLE FROM THE COMMUNITY ANSWERED THE CALL!

With that 02/10/06 March we knew we were not alone. The entire labor movement in San Diego was watching, as well as direct support from Human Rights organizations, student groups, family members, community organizations, etc.

That day we marched through the heart of the "Gaslamp District" crying out our demand for justice and respect in the workplace. "NO THIRTY ROOMS!!!!" It will be some time before Downtown San Diego forgets the name HYATT HOUSEKEEPERS UNITED FOR OUR RIGHTS.
