| The Raza Rights Coalition is an alliance of independent Chicano Mexicano/Raza Latino-Americano organizations and individuals united to defend and elevate the human rights and dignity of our people. We have formed this alliance to resist the injustice, racism, exploitative economic interest, oppressive government policies, and violation of our civil and human rights that have been carried out since the occupation and colonization of Northern Mexico by the United States of America in 1848 and in a larger sense since the arrival of European conquerors half a millennia ago.
